Chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) is a white powder which is prepared by chlorination of HDPE. It’s kind of elastomer with excellent resistance to oil and ozone and with good flame retardant properties. It exhibits a good miscibility with PVC, many types of plastics and rubber. It is an important Schlagzä modificator for PVC.
